ISPF/VSAM Utility 3.0 Steps to update the Password
Step 1:
Look for JES2 Procedure: The JES2 Procedure can be found in the CPAC.PARMLIB dataset.
Step 2:
The JES2 procedure contains the following PROCLIB members CPAC.PROCLIB, SYS1.PROCLIB, SYS1.IBM.PROCLIB, SYS1.CLIENTR.PROCLIB and CLIENT.PROCLIB
Step 3:
Look for CLIENTPROD Procedure found in SYS1.CLIENTR.PROCLIB: The CLIENTPROD is invoking ACPPROD member that is found in CLIENTSYS.ISSI.CLIST
Step 4:
The ACPPROD found in CLIENTSYS.ISSI.CLIST is invoking ALPROF member found in the CLIENTSYS.ISSI.CLIST dataset.
Step 5:
The ALPROF member is invoking ISPF PANEL(ISR@PRIM) member that is present in CLIENTSYS.ZOS.TARGET.ISRPLIB
Step 6:
Browse ISR@PRIM and do find on keyword VSAM. You should get %VSAMUTIL.
Step 7:
The VSAMUTIL found in CLIENT.IVU27.CMDPROC invokes the VSMUAPPL found in the CLIENT.IVU27.CMDPROC dataset.
Step 8:
Edit the VSMUAPPL to set the new password SET &VSPW1 = RZFS2DVBAN26UHKE
