Overtime/Holiday/ Callback Multiplier: 1.25 X pay rate
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks, with option to extend.

Client Location: Murray, UT
Schedule Notes: 4 X 10s Days + On-call
Duties:
- Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
- Prepares patients for exam using appropriate body mechanics.
- Identifies proper exams based on patient need and utilizes correct exam techniques.
- Produces quality images through the appropriate operation of equipment/instrumentation.
- Follows proper patient identification protocols.
- Thoroughly and accurately completes all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
- Maintains work area and stocks needed supplies.
- Transports patients as needed.
- Develops specific knowledge with regard to invasive, diagnostic and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.
- At the end of the procedure, may apply closure device, suture the sheath in place, or remove the sheath and apply pressure to obtain hemostasis.
- Understands and applies principles of x-ray generation and safety.
- Understands and demonstrates the correct operation of imaging equipment.
- Provides patient education, as needed and assures patient comfort.
- Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.
Required Education:
- HS diploma or GED
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT registration
- State of Utah Rad Tech License.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. -Must have Vascular/Interventional radiography certification, or one year of Angio/Interventional experience.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
- ACLS or PALS certification.
